We are off to Napa early tomorrow. A full seven day itinerary is set. Most of our tasting appoinments are new visits, first time. After five trips out there, we have so much yet to see. Will try to post some good recomendations when we return.

Back from Napa with a whole lot of respect for what is known as mountain berries, mountain grown grapes for those in the dark. We visited Howell Mountain as our one new areas we try to hit every year. Forman Vineyards, owned by Rick Forman, Ladera, owned by Anne and Pat Stotesberry, and Bremer Family all produce some fantastic wines with some big bold Cabs, my favorite. All three are appointment only yet well worth a visit. We also visited Chappellet and David Arthur both over on Prithchard Hill, again great visits and super wines. Actually hit quite a few more, just way to much info for this post. If anyone is interested, let me know and I can provide more detail.
All I can say is if you have never been to Napa, and Sonoma you have to go!
