Hey all! I decided to join your forum to get some expert advice on a bottle of Vintage '81 Gallo of Sonoma Cabernet I recently acquired. I enjoy a good wine, but my experience lies mostly in fine beers (is that so wrong?). Please let me know about any experiences you've had with this wine or wines of the same year/region, or just give me your opinion. I've only been able to find 1 retailer who carries it (at $125 a bottle), and no reviews to speak of so all advice is appreciated. I've included a pic.
