Drink what you like, when you like!

« on: May 20, 2008, 04:34:48 AM »

It would be nice to know what members and visitors are actually drinking.   It would be easier; at least for me, to learn more from you if I know more about you and your wine style, taste, price range, and how you pick your wines.  And you may be able to learn from me as well.

Still, with as many members and visitors we have in here, we're missing an oppurtunity.   An oppertunity to taste, even if only mentally all the great wines out there.  I can't taste them all, and neither can you, but we can bring those taste here to this site.   Express those taste, smells, and wonderful hidden treasures out there.....and who knows, we might actually get lucky and find one of those wines hidden in on one of our grocery shelves.  Or when out of state, we might have an idea of what's good already instead of a blank stare in a out of state wine shop.

Who knows.  Maybe we/someone can come up with something fun or interesting with these poll results if any one votes on it.

I was hoping this poll would allow you select as many options they were available to choose from.  It won't let that happen......so if you wish, instead of filling in just one botton choice, you may have to write it in an response comment.

SORRY!!!!

I was going to mention that... haha.

Here are my answers...

 - I pick mostly red wines, then red blends and some whites,
 - Any wine under A$30 and maybe the odd one up to A$50 (for special occasions)
 - I usually pick wines that I haven't tried before (always looking for another good one) and often ones that I like.

It depends on whether or not I just recieved an economic stimulus check from the U.S. Federal Government! grin

Normally I drink reds in the $8-15 range and whites I will spend up to $15 for wine I drink frequently.  When I have money to spend I love buying wine from producers in the area (walla walla) that I know I like which can sometimes range from 20-40 dollars.
